Liefdevolle Sorg

Liewe Leser

Dankie, dankie!

Dear Reader

Allow me to write this letter on behalf of all of us older seniors. A number of us are widows – and some (like me) are already above 90 years of age.

Thank you for the loving physical and spiritual care that we receive here at KwaSizabantu.

Thank you to Erlo and his children whose homes are always open to offer help where needed.

Thank you to all the co-workers and everyone on KwaSizabantu who help people.

Thank you to the counsellors (like Esther Bornman) who are always willing to pray with, and encourage anybody at any time, day or night.

In the thirteen years that I have been here, I have seen how broken people arrive and are changed by this precious Gospel.

As a retired teacher, I am impressed by the high standard of the school and the college – especially the spiritual wisdom that is evident in the young people. We older ones pick the fruit of well brought-up children who still have respect for older people.

What amazes me the most is how drug addicts change completely and become responsible citizens of the community – people whom I can look up to.

I thank the Lord for KwaSizabantu! Thank you, thank you!
