I Have a Purpose in Life

I was a drug addict for more than 10 years, there were times I would find myself sleeping on the streets of Cape Town, eating out of bins. My daily hustle was pushing my scraptrolley collecting scrap for my next fix.  I was into all kinds of drugs and alcohol and doing wrong things.  I can still remember telling my mom that I want to stop smoking, but I don't want to go to any rehab.

It was in 2016 when I heard about KwaSizabantu Mission, then I wanted to know more about the place because I was already on my rims and had nothing to lose. At the time my parents already had a court order out on me and I was sleeping outside. March 2016 then I finally left for Kwasizabantu Mission in Cape Town. There I learned that one should confess one’s sins, and how to live a pure and holy life. While I was there I gave my life to Christ. I was there for 8 months and it was the best time of my life.

After that the leaders at the Mission asked me to go to Franschhoek and work at the aQuellé water factory. For me it's a gift and a blessing from God. Besides this is God's work. The Mission is always there to help, encourage and motivate the youth of South Africa.

I would like to thank aQuellé for all the opportunities that was made  possible for me, and teaching me new things every day. From pushing scrap trolleys I am now a licensed car owner. I've restored my relationships with my family, thanks to KwaSizabantu Mission. Thanks to aQuellé I have an identity again. Thanks to aQuellé I have a purpose in life. The company and the mission means everything to me.

I have visited the KwaSizabantu Mission in KZN a couple of times and it is like heaven on earth. That place is peaceful and everyone is always friendly, I would not mind to go visit again. To be honest, if it wasn't for KwaSizabantu Mission I would probably be dead today.

Thank you Rev. Erlo Stegen for everything.
